Mental Health and Co-occurring Disorders
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Mental Health Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)

University Behavioral Center’s IOP and PHP programs offer hope to individuals suffering from substance abuse and mental health related issues. Through our outpatient programs we address the emotional, psychological and physical well-being of each individual. Our treatment philosophy incorporates elements of relapse prevention, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psycho-educational and family approaches.

Intensive Outpatient Program (Mental Health)

  • IOP is offered three times a week for three hours each day for adults ages 18 and older.
  • IOP allows individuals to continue with their lives while seeking recovery in an outpatient structured and supportive recovery environment
  • Costs are affordable and partially covered by most health insurance plans
  • Opportunity for the entire family/concerned person to begin a healing process
  • Services provided include but are not limited to:
    • Psycho-educational component
    • Life skills group
    • After care support maintenance

Partial Hospitalization Program (Mental Health and Co-occurring Disorders)

  • The PHP program is offered five days a week for a total of 5.5 hours per day for adults ages 18 and older.
  • Costs are affordable and partially covered by most health insurance plans
  • Services provided include but are not limited to:
    • Early recovery skills and group therapy
    • Custom treatment planning
    • Weekly family/concerned persons support group
    • Recreation therapy and wellness related activities
    • After care support/maintenance
