Transitions – Partial Hospitalization (Day Program) for Adolescents

University Behavioral Center’s Transitions Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is a structured and intensive treatment program that operates eight hours per day, five days per week. This program offers coordinated multidisciplinary clinical services for adolescents that are able to function at a minimally appropriate level and do not present as an imminent potential for harm to themselves or others. Unlike residential clients who sleep at the facility, teens in the Partial Hospitalization Program go home at the end of the day.

  • Treats youth experiencing emotional difficulties resulting from multiple Baker Acts and/or extensive outpatient interventions with minimal progress
  • Treatment areas include: self-injurious behaviors, symptoms of bi-polar disorder, depression, anxiety, behavioral and mental health issues
  • Inpatient treatment includes individualized treatment plans, medication management and individual and family therapy.
  • Treatment is focused on building safe and functional patterns of coping and enhancing interpersonal relationships.
